The Post Office have announced planned changes to the Hannon Road branch in the Southcourt area of Aylesbury. The changes they have announced would be to introduce the following:
• The opening hours of the Hannon Road branch would be longer than they are currently, the new hours would be 7:00-22:00 on Monday through to Sunday. The current hours are 9:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and 9:00 – 12:30 on Saturday.
• According to the Post Office however the Hannon Road branch would no longer offer ‘on demand travel insurance’, ‘Transcash (without barcode)’ or the ‘Parcelforce Worldwide International parcels’ service. It would also offer more limited ‘Express & contract parcels’. These services would however be available at the Aylesbury Post Office, 25-29 High Street.
In order to implement the proposed changes a branch would have to be closed for seven days during March of 2016 to carry out the work, the exact date is to be advertised outside the branch two weeks before the work is due to be carried out.
