House building in Buckinghamshire

I thought you would be interested in the latest house building statistics for Aylesbury vale and Buckinghamshire as a whole. House building in and around Aylesbury will increase the supply of housing and help those seeking to get on the property ladder to do so. The next generation are facing a situation where they are finding it increasingly difficult to find affordable housing for them and their families. However this must be done in a way which protects Green Belt and AONB land.

Buckinghamshire built more homes last year than in many of Britain’s largest cities, with Aylesbury Vale's record being one of the highest in the country.

A total of 1,650 dwellings were completed in Buckinghamshire last year, a 25 per cent increase on the year before, of the London Boroughs only Greenwich (1,870) was able to build more than Buckinghamshire. Aylesbury Vale itself built a total of 1,050 dwellings which was more than in Manchester (870), Birmingham (850), Sheffield (830) and many other cities.
