Please see below a press release that has been released by the Hampden Fields Consortium about their new plans for new housing between Bedgrove and Weston Turville. A previous planning application was rejected on appeal by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.
“This new application includes some welcome improvements compared with the developers’ previous effort.
“I’m pleased to see that the plan now proposes a dual carriageway link road between the A41 Aston Clinton Road and the A413 Wendover Road. The developers say that their traffic modelling predicts a consequent reduction in traffic pressure on roads through both Bedgrove and Weston Turville village.
“The new proposals also provide for a larger area of green field land between the new development and Weston Turville, which lessens the risk that a new development will lead to the coalescence of the village with Aylesbury.
“I will look carefully at the detail of new proposals, especially in terms of the impact on Aylesbury traffic. The planning authority that makes the decision is Aylesbury Vale District Council and I hope that residents who have views will make these known to them, which you can do here: www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk/search-planning-licensing-applications
